KENT, N.Y. — A 16-year-old Brewster boy faces felony charges of robbery and assault in connection with a series of events Friday in Lake Carmel.

Kent police arrested the teen-ager after Christopher Vigliotti, 19, of New Fairfield, complained that he had been slashed with a knife.

Detective Gerry Locascio said the victim and his alleged assailant argued outside the Villa Carmel Restaurant when the boy allegedly cut Vigliotti.

Police went to the boy’s home and took him into custody. He also was charged with robbery for allegedly taking $80 at gunpoint from Vigliotti on Thanksgiving Day.

The boy was arraigned in Kent Town Court and was released to his father.
